1. Title / Headline
It can be something catchy or simply the general topic of your challenge.
“Let’s create our new best-selling product”.
2. Participants
What group of people is invited to your challenge?
“Dear Development and Sales teams”.
3. Background
Tell the participants who you are and what project you are asking their input for.
“As you may know from the recent sales report, our best-selling product, the Office Chair 2015, is not so best-selling anymore”.
4. Purpose
What is the end goal of your project?
"Improve our sales and competitive position".
5. The challenge
What are the questions that you wish to ask your participants?
"Come up with your best ideas and suggestion for the new version".
6. Limitations
What are the limitations for the ideas? For example, budget, location, etc.
“Every idea is welcome as long as it is related to computer- and office- chairs, and it can be realised in our production plant”.
7. Format
What are the formal requirements that an idea needs to include?
“You ideas must include suggested price points”.
8. End result
What do you plan to do with the inputs you receive.
"After the end date, I will review all ideas with the management team, and pick the best 3 ideas."
